*Mojo Green*

Mojo Green, a seven piece outfit from Reno, Nv, is quickly becoming known as one of the premier funk and soul bands on the west coast. Over the last two years Mojo Green has played over 200 shows taking their high energy, hard hitting, crazy dance party to storied venues such as The Great American Music Hall, The Sierra Nevada Big Room, The Sweetwater Music Hall, Harlow's in SacTown, The Crystal Bay Club, and the historic Celebrity Showroom at the Reno Nugget. Their touring schedule has given them the honor of sharing the same stage with powerhouse acts like The Funky Meters, The Motet, Trombone Shorty, Orgone, Big Sam's Funky Nation, Turkuaz, The Scott Pemberton Trio, The Monophonics, Tea Leaf Green, Nigel Hall w/ members of Lettuce, and gained them the reputation of being one of the best live acts around. Over the past couple of years they have also had the opportunity to take their unique sound to major festivals such as Burning Man, Hangtown Halloween Ball, The Squaw Valley Funk Fest, The Bounce, For the Funk of It, and Ridgestock. Their debut album 'Funk in Public', which was released in early 2013, has been well received by both fans and the media alike, while also earning an award for Best Album of Northern Nevada for 2013 by the Reno News and Review. They plan on releasing a follow-up to Funk in Public sometime in early 2015. Made up of: Frank "Fletch" Fletcher on Drums and Trevor Rice on Bass laying down the tight and funky grooves that create the foundation, with Tim Bain on Guitar adding some tasty, deep funk rhythms and blistering lead lines, a powerhouse heavy horn section composed of Kevin Thomas on Bari Sax,Monty Adams on Trumpet and John Bennum on Trombone with Jenes Carter adding her Soulful and Sexy vocal leads, Mojo Green plays a style all their own that is extremely funky, very sexy and of course super danceable.

Zane Carney

Before Zane’s band CARNEY (co-lead by brother Reeve Carney) opened for U2, The Black Crowe’s, Gov’t Mule and The Veronicas, they headlined shows in 2008 and 2010 at Boom Boom Room here in San Francisco.

After becoming John Mayer’s Lead/Rhythm Guitar player in 2013 Zane started his own solo project and he’s been headlining huge venues (like El Rey Theatre and Mercury Lounge) in LA and NY.
Back in SF by popular demand after his sold out show in July, this is a night you don't want to miss!

Bob Lefsetz raved about Zane’s Rock band CARNEY, likening the band's sound to a mysterious trip into the heart of darkness. While his original songs are still rooted in the off-centered approach to arranging that defined CARNEY, they lean slightly away from CARNEY’s raw and brooding Rock and Roll and more towards Zane’s roots in Jazz, Blues, Pop and Orchestral music. Zane’s songwriting style is grounded in storytelling and a compelling honesty but while his voice has been compared to that of Jeff Buckley, Zane’s songs tend to unwittingly showcase the passion he has for his first love: guitar. Zane Carney’s Confluence (Singer-Songwriter EP) and Amalgam (Jazz Guitar Album) are both available Worldwide on the iTunes Music Store.
