VICTOR LITTLE will be bringing the FUNK to the Fillmore on Saturday night, as he puts together a fire line up to get his audience groovin’. LIFE’S A GROOVE is a concept founded by artist and bassist Victor Little, whose vision is to unite people together through music and to create a musical journey for the listening audience that will transport them to all parts of the world, enabling them to experience the sounds of sophisticated music performed with feeling and intellect. Victor is passionate about creating and playing music for a living, and has demonstrated his commitment by writing, producing, consulting, recording and performing original music in a career that has spanned over 20 years. “I’ve been blessed to collaborate with some of the most talented musicians and play on some of the most prestigious stages with world class artists and performers” says Victor, whose resume contains a long list of luminaries that includes Patti Austin, Billy Preston, Angela Bofill, James Carter, Charlie Musselwhite, and Booker T. Jones to name a few. Victor’s album Inner Portrait, which is described as a “powerful musical journey that flows with sophisticated Bass melodies. It features legendary drummer Dennis Chambers (Santana), grammy-award winning drummer Thomas Pridgen (The Mars Volta) as well as Ruslan Sirota (Stanley Clarke) playing keyboards. “Finally I have stepped out of the shadows of being a sideman and produced my own record. I’m more excited than words can say about the final product” says Victor, who has already been receiving rave reviews from peers, industry insiders and the media.
