More Fatter

More Fatter is a funk/rock/jazz fusion band hailing from Belmont, California in the San Francisco Bay Area. With spacious, brassy dance grooves reminiscent of Earth Wind & Fire and lusciously tight harmonies inspired by The Beatles, More Fatter draws from a well of classic rock and funk. Further building on modern influences ranging from Snarky Puppy, to Justin Timberlake, to Chicago-based Sidewalk Chalk, More Fatter carves out an edgy sound blurring funk, rock, jazz, and electronica.

Guitarist and vocalist, Tommy Economou, founded the band with long-time friend, trombonist, keyboard player, and vocalist Mark Fedronic in 2015. Having both just graduated from college and recently moved back to the Bay Area, Fedronic and Economou combined backgrounds in blues, jazz, and years of shared experience singing in the Ragazzi Boys Chorus, with the eclectic versatility of jazz-trained bassist, composer, and producer, Gustaf Claesson. Mark’s brother and trumpet player, Theo Fedronic, and drummer Danny Chiapelone added essential missing ingredients to the mix. Bassist Adam Heymann completed the group upon Gustaf's departure for the Berklee School of Music in Boston.

More Fatter celebrates the chaotic zone between humanity’s wildest dreams and our everyday realities, driven by a mission to fire up the hearts and souls of listeners. With Economou’s jaggedly raw guitar solos, Heymann and Chiapelone's locked in grooves, and an overarching blanket of vocals, keyboards, and brass, More Fatter is sure to leave onlookers in a daze. Stay tuned for their debut record, coming out in early 2017. Lovin is livin!

Matt Jaffe and the Distractions

MATT JAFFE is a 21 year old singer/songwriter from the San Francisco Bay Area. With influences ranging from The Clash, Elvis Costello, and Talking Heads to Bob Dylan, Hank Williams, and Johnny Cash, Matt performs regularly throughout the Bay Area, SoCal and NYC. Matt was ‘discovered’ playing solo at an open mic by ex-Talking Head JERRY HARRISON, who has helped mentor and create Matt’s unique sound. In bringing the ambitions of the studio to rambunctious life onstage, Matt sought out the rhythm section of PAUL PALDINO and THOMAS YOPES. Together with acclaimed producer MATTHEW KING KAUFMAN (Jonathan Richman, Greg Kihn, The Rubinoos) they have completed Matt’s first EP of original music - BLAST OFF - released in April 2015. The band's growing footprint has been propelled by first place accolades at the 2013 Marin County Battle of the Bands and the 2013 and 2014 Mill Valley Memorial Day Parades. The single, 'I Wanna Be Cruel' was named a finalist in the 2013 UnSigned Only Songwriting Competition. 'Armistice Day' was the top song in the 2014 International Songwriting Competition Social Cause category and a finalist in the Teen section. And following a multi-step process including on-line voting and two live performances, the band was crowned champions of the San Francisco Hard Rock Cafe Battle of the Bands 2014. In September and October 2015, the band had their first national tour, performing in 23 cities across the USA opening for BLUES TRAVELER. Please be on the look out for other upcoming performances and releases - thank you for your interest and support!
