A Huge night of music
featuring:
*REDSTONE HALL*
*MAIDEN LANE*
*7ORANGEABC*
7OrangeABC -- an experimental rock band, which will play an acoustic set, opening the night. They are from Oakland and have been on the cover of Performer.
Maiden Lane -- an indie rock n soul band.
The musical collaboration of the son of Phil Lesh, bass player for the legendary rock group The Grateful Dead, and the former lead singer of country group “The Jenkins” (Capitol Records, Nashville) may seem an unlikely pairing, but for Grahame Lesh and Brodie Jenkins, influences run deep. Both San Francisco Bay Area natives, the two met at Stanford University in the fall of 2006 and, along with bassist Mac Parish and drummer Eric Saar, instantly hit it off. Saar, who was the first to recommend Jenkins, says, “The band was nearly complete. All we needed was a hot, kick ass front-woman, and Brodie was IT.”
Redstone Hall---
a band with heavy rock and blues influences, will headline the night. They are from Los Angeles,
Their original sound is based on a foundation of classic rock, but it incorporates an exciting array of contemporary rock, pop, and jam ingredients. Redstone Hall delivers a fresh and modern take on the styles established by the classic rock greats that the guys grew up listening to and studying. The songwriting is melodic and diverse with a surprisingly unique sound that will immediately stick with you. $7 (www.boomboomtickets.com) |
