Coyote Trickster formed in the South Bay in the fall of 2010. It started as a cluster of college friends who assembled for long-winded improvisational sessions into weird hours of the night. After a year of performance in bars and house parties, the band retreated to an old garage in Santa Clara, CA to trim their constantly evolving tunes into a style suitable for an EP.
For the band's first release, COY, the group teamed up with Oakland psychedelic pioneer, Greg Ashley, at the Creamery Studios. The group recorded on all analog equipment in a cloud of cigarette smoke and red wine.
Coyote Trickster explores its influences - New Orleans Funk, Delta Blues, Soul - and brings those genres back to the stage through their own
psychedelic lens.

Determined to help revive authentic, soulful rock music, KINGSBOROUGH has become one of the North Bay’s most entertaining and fastest rising acts. The band’s influences range from The Allman Brothers and Bill Withers to Rage Against the Machine and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, resulting in a beautiful hurricane of widely diverse original material. Armed with heart pounding rhythms, dazzling guitar solos and powerful vocal harmonies, this powerhouse 5 piece is living proof that rock n’ roll is still alive and well.

MAD NOISE is an Oakland-based band that takes an acoustic & contemporary jazz approach to a wide array of popular songs spanning the 20th century as well as a number of original songs tinged with blues, R&B, and soulful rock. Their debut EP "Noise Complaint" was produced by Jimmy Lyons and engineered by Joe Gordon. You can stream and download the entire album at soundcloud.com/madnoise. The band regularly busks at the Ferry Building's Farmer's Market every Saturday morning from 8 am to 2 pm, where it draws a wide crowd of admirers--from young and old. Complete with an upright bass, harmonicas, guitars, and drums, MAD NOISE has an incredible ear and ability to arrange their music to suit and win over any audience.
